Each family's contribution of $75 per child allows the PTO to partially fund our programs throughout the year. But we are appreciative of any amount you can donate.

In a typical school year, the PTO spends your donations on many things that the town does not fund. In 2017-2018, total PTO contributions donated by families was $22,193. Here is a list of things the PTO funded in the 2017-2018 school year.
Dreambox subscription (Math enrichment)
Creative Arts & Sciences events like Author visits, Curious Creatures, etc.
Bates Library Contribution
Busing to field trips (Busing is expensive!)
Teacher Professional development (work conferences, online resources)
Teacher classroom start-up costs
Your PTO dues are very important. While the yearly Pumpkin Fair and Bates Auction (held every other year) help fund the rest of our yearly budget, we still need to raise additional funds to keep our wonderful school going. Please consider supporting the PTO. Any amount is appreciated.
