The pumpkin fair is the PTO's biggest fundraiser and a fun day for the community! Mark your calendars for October 19, 10am-2pm.
The money we raise from the pumpkin fair is used to provide extra funding for our school. Extra money translates to extra opportunities for our children and the Bates staff.
Be A Monster Sponsor
A Monster Sponsorship is when a Bates Family donates $100 to the Pumpkin Fair.
This money helps us pay for the Pumpkins for the Pumpkin Patch and all our other start-up costs for the Fair. Any remaining money donated goes to benefit our kids and the important PTO programming, such as Creative Arts and buses for field trips to name just a few things. Our goal is 100% participation! Please be a Monster!
All Bates family donations over $100 will be recognized as a "Monster Sponsor." Family names will be displayed in the weekly Sunday Bates Blast until the Fair and on the Monster Sponsorship banner proudly shared at the event. Please CLICK HERE to see our current Monster Sponsors.
Staffing is a critical component for making Pumpkin Fair successful and we need help from all Bates families! We are asking for 100% participation to staff games, serve food, sell pumpkins, haunt the house, paint nails, sell baked treats and much, much more.

The Kids Raffle is always a huge hit thanks in large part to donations from Bates Families. Please donate a new toy or gift card that your child would like to win. Sporting items, lego sets, Emoji Pillows, Squishies, and games are all great ideas. You can purchase them yourself and drop everything off in the designated tub at Karen Welt Steeve's house (78 Elmwood Rd) or you can use the Amazon Wish List set up specifically for the raffle where items you buy will be sent directly to Karen's House. Click here to view list.
You can also make a monetary donation via check that can be returned to school in your kid's backpack in an envelope marked "Pumpkin Fair" or "PTO Treasurer." The Kids Raffle is such a fun part of the fair -- let's make it even bigger this year!!!
Each year Bates faculty and staff offer up their time and creativity to create wonderful events for your children to attend. This year these experiences will primarily be offered online with two special experiences offered during the Pumpkin Fair: **Principal for the Day & PE Teacher For the Day**
Find a description of each experience here. To sign up click (link coming soon!).
